THE FESTIVAL
We also had student performances by three of London tango schools, Letchworth Tango Academy, Raquel Greenberg Tango Academy and Tango Movement. It was lovely to see the excitement and passion of the dancing groups.
The milonga was hosted by DJ Andrea Dedó and the social dancing continued until the masterful performance by Josefina Bermúdez Avila & Fabián Peralta.
Social dancing resumed until the early hours of morning at Paddington station. Yes, this year the after-party took place inside the vaults of this iconic station, which was warmed up by the music selected by Marcelo Rojas, of the 2×4 radio. What a perfect marriage sanctioning again the relation between Argentina and UK in railway matters. In fact, it was the British government that invested in building and developing the railway network in Argentina. That’s why some of the stations there still bear English names. Well now… Lets see what happens at Sunday’s ‘finale grande’!
