Free tango bliss!! That’s exactly what it was.
“Tango on the Road” featured another blissful evening of free tango classes, performances and social dances, in a perfectly central location – Borough market.
The “Tango on the Road” events at Borough market have been running since 2014 and every year more teachers and students take part. This year six couples of teachers/performers were involved and they all gave a spectacular taste of what tango can be like. Every couple with their own style, musical interpretation and magical appreciation of tango, and they were supported by a professional tango DJ.
Many tango lovers and people new to tango turned up and the Argentine Embassy’s sponsored event became another occasion to sample and appreciate dancing both socially and as a learning opportunity. We hope there will be more of these events in the year to come!
